The principal purpose of the Site is to provide you, the user, with an automated product (the “Solution”) through which the user can self-prepare a Virginia Homestead Deed for protection of real estate or personal property owned by the user.  The sole function of the Solution is to assist the user by converting data entered by the user into a draft Virginia Homestead Deed.  MLG does not guaranty the legal correctness, completeness or effectiveness of the user-entered data nor does use of the Solution include any assistance in the filing of the self-prepared deed.  To ensure the legal effectiveness of your self-prepared Virginia Homestead Deed, MLG recommends that the user engage an attorney to review the self-prepared deed.

The MLG attorneys are available through the Site to assist with the preparation of the Homestead Deed.  Any other legal inquiry or assistance required should be directed to an attorney at The Merna Law Group, P.C. by calling 800-662-8813 or emailing [email protected].

The submission of information to the Site does not create an attorney-client relationship absent the execution of an engagement agreement for legal services.  Do not use the Site or forms available through the Site to submit confidential, time-sensitive or privileged information. MLG recommends that all users elect “Attorney Assistance” in the production, review and filing of a homestead deed.
